This photo from around 1938 was sent to Dr Kimberly Molto a research scientist specialising in neurobiology in Ontario and later submitted on-line.
The original photo was taken by a lady in her basement, the purpose was a before and after shot as it was long overdue to be renovated.
The photograph appears to show a man, confirmed by the photographer as her husband, sweeping the dark corners of the basement. What makes this photo interesting is that the man in it shouldn't have been there at all.
Her husband had died of a massive coronary in the basement several years before this picture was taken.
